GB3OA - Southport's 2M REPEATER on RV49
    Real time node Monitor
GUIDELINES

The first thing to understand, is that there isn’t any 1750Hz toneburst access on this repeater. You will need to use a CTCSS tone of 82.5Hz  at all times. Once in, the logic (an ICS Linker II), acts like most other standard repeater controllers. There are no “bells and whistles”.

The timeout is set for five minutes. You’ll get no warning, the repeater will just drop out. It won’t reset until the input channel becomes clear.

From the 30th March 2006, GB3OA will also be connected, (using EchoIRLP), to both the IRLP and Echolink networks. Its node number on both systems will be 5302. Please become familiar with operating techniques for Internet Linking before using this facility, instructions can be found on the repeater’s web site at here

Above all use the repeater sensibly, giving consideration to other users. It’s been provided by members of the Southport & District Amateur Radio Club for everyone’s use, enjoy!
